Terms & Conditions

By accessing the Owl website, or downloading, installing, or using the Owl app ("App") and the Owl Silent Alarm Ring ("Device"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website, App, or Device.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to use the website, App, and Device.

Our website is provided for informational purposes and to share updates about Owl. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to disrupt its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

The App is designed to function locally on your phone without user registration or an account. You are solely responsible for the security of your phone and any data stored locally within the App.

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the App on devices you own or control. This license is for personal, non-commercial use only.

The App is designed to work together with the Owl Silent Alarm Ring via Bluetooth. We do not guarantee that the App or Device will function correctly if your phone's Bluetooth is disabled, out of range, or incompatible with the Device. Alarms already synced to the ring continue to function even when your phone is unavailable, but syncing new alarms or changing settings requires an active Bluetooth connection.

Because the App stores your alarms, reminders, and preferences locally on your phone rather than on our servers, you acknowledge that uninstalling the App, losing or replacing your phone, or performing a factory reset on your phone or the Device will result in the permanent loss of this data. We are not responsible for any data lost as a result, and we have no ability to recover it.

The Owl Silent Alarm Ring is intended for personal consumer use only. It is not a medical device and must not be relied upon for emergency notifications, medical monitoring, or other life-critical situations.

App updates and Device firmware updates may introduce, modify, or discontinue features without prior notice. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated functionality.

The website, App's source code, design, logos, graphics, and functionality, along with the Device's industrial design, firmware, and documentation, are the property of OWL Smart Wearable Devices and are protected by copyright and intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the website, App, or Device.

Owl provides a limited warranty against manufacturing defects in the Device. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, liquids beyond the Device's specifications, unauthorized repair, or normal wear is not covered.

The website and App are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding their reliability, accuracy, or compatibility with your specific phone or operating system.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Owl and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the website, App, or Device — including but not limited to missed alarms, lost local data, or Bluetooth connectivity issues.

We may suspend or discontinue the website or App at any time. You may stop using them at any time by leaving the website and/or uninstalling the App.

Your use of the website, App, and Device is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data (if any) is collected and how it is handled.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the website or an in-app notice before they take effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which OWL Smart Wearable Devices is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
